See FlowX. The data is there in windy but often janky to 'play' the layers over time.

Could you load the time slices into memory so that sliding is smoother and you can see a full view over time quickly and easily?

FlowX uses swipe gesture on the map to very easily go back and forward in time.

Surely that would be a user discretion issue rather than yours? To avoid confusion, you could add an option to 'allow up to X layers' in the settings. That way, you can set the default to what you believe is reasonable for entry users, and then if someone has increased it, they'll be aware why their map is so 'thick'!

Obviously layers which use the temperature gradient can't overlay, but clouds, rain, wind, a temperature-based layer, hurricanes and other icon/graphic based layers all could.

I would like the Isolines setting to persist between sessions. I am finding that it is turned off every time the app fully closes. I'd like to see them on by default (could just remember the setting from last session?)

I'd like to see meteogram by default. Could this be an option? (To either remember - like 3hr/1hr - or just set a default, like the open layer).

Is this a feature or an oversight?

I can switch to NEMS from the big side menu in android but it does not show up when I'm viewing the forecast for a particular city (with timeline view and meteogram options for some models). It just isn't there. Is this right?

When do you think we will get the ability to layer up multiple layers?

I see this has been submitted to the suggestions section a while back but not responses were made.

Is there not a desire to be able to overlay at least 2 (ideally 3) layers to see how these different systems are acting upon one another?
