Yes indeed, I would love to receive alerts when there is any sizeable weather events in the FORECAST, rather than alert once it has hapoened.
Example; if there is a large rainfall coming, it would be very handy to have a notification about 24-48 hrs before its estimated arrival.
Same for snow, heatwaves, and strong winds.
