      @gkikas-lgpz In Meteoblue app the southern limit of NEMS4 is just through Lampedusa island, [image: 1783858300399-3e973451-2b63-4c56-85c9-9539e98834f8.jpeg] But in Windy the layer limit is further south [image: 1783858604060-accddce8-5034-443a-bd6c-c19ddb787966.jpeg] Finally the issue is likely on the Windy side.

      @anemometrus Outside USA and Canada, weather radars are not dual-polarised and they cannot directly detect hail. See a related post

      @anemometrus Yes. Cold cloud tops are often associated with heavy rain. Especially in areas with "bright white" colour in VIS satellite channel.
