@Ondřej-Šutera Hello, the mobile app often does not remember the last settings despite that the setting to launch app with last view is set to on.

There also needs to be a custom default launch view, as the extra effort needed to make sure to change the view beforce closing the app, makes me not want to use it as much.

Is there any way to make these things work, or is this just unfeasible? The app version is 17.0206, which is the latest that I could find. OS version is 4.4.4 KitKat. (Yes, There are no further updates avaialble for this device. I just like having also a large screen Android device, got it for free, and I doubt I'll be really needing a new tablet in the foreseeable future).

@Angielskiego It would be nice to have setting to always have it on as an underlay of the main currently selected layer such as temperature, wind , etc.

Is satellite view out of possibilty for now?

@idefix37 yes, that is the problem. There should be a separate custm startup view setting.

@idefix37 There is no option to view the osmand layer just like in OsmAnd app nor openstreetmap.org, is there?

The "remember last view" workaround requires extra effort to keep restoring the view according to multiple variables before closing app in order to not forget them and have them ready in urgency.

This is so frustratingly annoying.

Additionally, the setting does not always restore pressure isolines for example. They should be on by default anyway.

@Ondřej-Šutera It'd be best to just use OsmAnd maps integration and possibly also bing satellite maps or other open source maps as add-on layers. No need to reinvent/reimplement the wheel. Also these maps provide significantly more useful details than just roads! :D

@b_lishus I agree that moon phases are very useful and/or interesting to know. Although the moon phase is the same everywhere on the planet.
