Until the last couple of days, the "model bar" at the lower right of the screen, on my setup at least, opened up with ECMWF at the start and GFS next to it. As I use the long range predictions a lot, and I think those two are the only 10 day forecasts, I switch between them to compare. Now I have to go to the other mode list to select GFS. Why has it changed with the introduction of UKV?

I have only just come across the soaring forecast: useful as it goes out quite a long time. For the UK, it would be better to have more differentation in the convective depth: on the great majority of good thermal days, the depth is rarely more than 10000 ft.

An indication of thermal strength would also be a good addition.
