    • New UI is very frustrating....

The app was perfect for years, but the new UI has really made it extremely frustrating to use.

Primarily, I really dislike that the "home" screen / basic view no longer has the function to move the cross-hair around the map, while simultaneously scrolling forward and back in time to view the wind speed.

They have moved the wind speed to the top left, however this auto-hides after a few seconds and doesn't return to the display. Likewise with the time/date scale along the bottom of the screen. So you end up left with a display that gives no information unless you click and hold on a specific location and view a detailed forecast for the precise place.

From a commercial master mariners perspective, I used to love that the pre-updated version of the app allowed me to view the wind speed / waves at various locations across larger geographical region without needing to go into the detailed forecast menus - this was great for at a glance voyage planning.

It's become a frustratingly long and arduous process now - so much so that I'm giving app feedback for the first time in my life.

Please look into reverting some of the basic features of the previous app.

      Thanks.

@idefix37 setting the "weather picker" to always on has resolved one of the issues. Thank you for that.

It's still annoying that the wind speed has been moved to the top left of the display. I'm sure it used to be by the crosshair or down left - as that is where my eyes keep automatically looking for it.

@Ftjwinfs thanks for taking the time to respond with a very interesting solution. I will look for the older version on apkmirror as you suggest.

      Thanks!
