Global warmer is a real concern.

So sea ice would be interesting.
But you have to change also the display of the datas.

The Mercator system is really not the best to display global datas, particularly when the datas are vectors fields.

the site gives a precious info, but why are you using such a bad projection for the display of the datas ?
To use a system similar to google earth, or something like at
earth.nullschool.net/#current/wind/surface/level/orthographic=48.45,82.44,408/loc=52.660,74.806

would be much better, more accurate and to monitor what happens near the North or South Pole would be much more comfortable.

I hope that you will improve that very quickly.
Just because the Earth isn't flat.
