@Bill-Salopek mine is backwards on Android as well. Confirmed to be the opposite of what Google Maps shows.

also faced with the same problem, which is specially inconvenient for me as I travel alot.

a solution I have found is if u press the refresh icon on the widget, it updates the location and weather without opening the app somehow.

So far i have found windy to be the most accurate for my location, and i have tried many apps, but having an auto update location in the background option would be much appreciated. eagerly waiting.

I would also like to see multiple non-conflicting layers. For example Tidal Currents and Radar+. Wind gusts and Currents, etc. Even Satellite and Radar, as other site do.
