@bpetri Hello, you can set the default zoom level which is used when you open the Windy.com app.

@bpetri Hello, there is an option in the Menu > Settings of the Windy.com app to set the start-up location ("Use last location" (including zoom) or select your favorite spot) and start-up layer ("Use last overlay").
It's essential to select the overlay you want to view when you open Windy next time, just before closing the app (only if you are changing models or overlays).
The same applies to the "Use last location" option with Zoom; be sure to have the desired zoom and location set for the next time. Hope this helps you :)

@Suty Thank you. The new weather models for Australia are great.

The website isn't so bad to switch but its super irritating on Android while out and about.

I see requests for many years about this. It seems like a setting for this would be one of your less challenging options but maybe there is some complexity that is stopping this feature.

ECMWF used to be my preferred option but now it isn't it is supper irritating.

I see - but users have obviously been waiting more than four years for this. I switched from Windy to another app because of such shortcomings. I'm now at least using Windy in parallel and will see what happens …
