@Polina-Nozdrina this feature would be so much better if it had the 20 year wind archive like the windy app, we absolutely love that feature and wish you could incorporate it into this page.

Windy station
G'day there team
We are a family currently sailing around the world and have for the last 6 months been a roaming windy weather station. We have been forwarding weather information to windy while crossing oceans and in costal areas where no stations have ever been in the hope that it will only make forecasting stronger and more accurate. While we are absolutely stoked with windy itself as an application and find it to be invaluable I was hoping to suggest not only for my benefit but for everyone involved if there were some sort of reduction in fees for people who outlay the money for the specific equipment required to be a weather station.I know myself that the equipment I have onboard our sailboat is worth thousands of dollars and requires constant maintenance, while we had most of the equipment required anyway to sail around the world we did still have to outlay extra in order to provide the data you require to be a station and help with forecasting and crucial weather updates.
I think that if you offered a reduced rate of fees for people to become roaming or fixed stations it could only benefit everyone due to the fact the information coming in would be detailed and vast.
I truly hope you consider this as a viable option and agree this could benefit everyones need when it comes to accurate and detailed weather forecasting.
Regards
Brendan

RE: Go 365 days back with the weather radar and satellite archive
@idefix37 Its not so much that we're using this strictly for passage planing rather broad timeline planning as we are currently sailing around the world and use predict wind for our weather routing although are leaning more towards constant windy updates now via our starlink.
the historical data allows us to see average wind strengths and directions for a particular time of the year on a particular coastline/ocean crossing allowing us to roughly plan where we'll be or roughly what time to make a passage. It's basic but a really handy feature when planing up to 12 months ahead which we sometimes have to do in order to know where we will haul the boat out, or where we need to avoid hurricane/cyclone seasons etc.
