BTW the radar is showing no rain for the next hour, which is totally at odds with the rain/thunder forecast

Hi, I’m in Estepona, Spain. It’s still showing a lot of rain in the area, but we had a shower about 2 hours ago and nothing since. It’s sunny at the moment with scattered clouds. 

The rain and thunderstorm forecast for my location seems very inaccurate. It currently shows torrential rain and thunderstorms, but it’s actually completely dry, and other weather apps indicate no rain for at least another 2-4 hours.
This seems to be a common occurrence, where the model is showing rain, thunder etc. but this doesn’t correspond to what’s happening outside.
