When I open the map and there is a bar across the top of the map. It goes away if I turn off forecast bar on the bottom. How do I stop this?

You change the display, and I want to go back to the old look.
For the apps that used to be on the right side of the screen

I noticed today that the thunder rings are gone. That used to occur after each lightning strike.
How do I get them up and working again?
