Hi,

Regarding the animations that Windy displays (Wind, wave, etc.) using the external data, is the plugin that is used to produce the wave animation onto the Leaflet map available to the public or is it an in-house closed-source plugin that is exclusive to Windy.com?

Regarding waves, I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of where the GFS wave data is retrieved from NOAA. I am trying to incorporate wave data into a project but am unable to find the location that contains the data that Windy uses. Any help or guidance in finding the location of said data is greatly appreciated.

I was wondering if it is possible to add the Windy Map-Forecast API's weather overlays to an existing Leaflet map.

Due to the nature of WindyAPI, and the fact that it initializes a new instance of Leaflet upon initialization of itself, it seems like it may not be possible or just complicated. Either way, I have been unable to find any resources to assist in doing this. My goal is to be able to use Windy's weather overlays on-top of my pre-existing map instead of creating an entirely separate map.

Any help or guidance in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
