I don’t think that is a bug.
If you look to the detail of colour settings, you can see that 100mm is between light green and light pink when 1000mm is strong pink. (See Settings -> Modify layers colors -> Accumulated rain). You may modify the colour range ourself if you need more details but you must know that the upper part of the range doesn’t appear in the colour scale generally.
