OK I’ve spent too much time trying to figure this out. I’m on the latest iOS 17 and the latest watch ultra ios and I cannot do the life of me have it keep a Weather location that I’ve chosen in the add location area. It keeps adding one from another country away.
I want Punta Uvita but it has Praha which I never have chosen.
I Do not keep location on as I work on a vpn.
I just want it to display a location I choose and keep it.

Ok. The 2nd update for 10.1 watch still not keeping selected location in settings. ONLY shows relevant "if" location turned on BUT cannot keep that on, as I live on a VPN for work and it will just show wrong location. Before iOS 10, windy would Keep whatever Selected location in the settings and was a joy and life was beautiful. ;-)
So bug seems to be to tell windy to override and keep selected location/place Selected in settings When location services turned off :-)
With today's Windy update for 10.1.....Still not fixed for KEEEPING the location and still showing after deleting, reinstalling and more, the Fake weather of Praha. I have never checked the Apple App Store for an update as often throughout the day since the beginning of the App Store. Please for the love of your customers that love the App, Make it work on Apple Watch

@SimonUrbanek Thank you thank you!! Love the windy app and don't like the others apps. So looking forward to the update :-)
@David-Polášek I've done all that and still shows a place I cannot find in google that makes sense and is not by far my location.
I've turned off since with iCloud as well and restarted Bothe phone and with...nothing changes.
Here is pics...don't even have Praha in location list to choose from but it does.
I tap on the weather bar on watch and go to locations and moved Punta Uvita to top and then go back and now it is some place I don’t know where.

Well, couple hours later and it loads Praha weather location again. Doesn't seems to keep what I select once I tap on weather bar on watch, then settings, locations. Don't even have Praha in my saved locations nor is my location turned on.. So for now using carrot weather as works and shows my saved location weather.
Ok, seems "Barrio Los Mingos is a new weather station (?) for Uvita Costa Rica....Seems same weather. Not sure why it's not called something Uvita as that is this area.
Anywho, works for now. Windy Is best weather app for Costa Rica hands down.
