P.S. - I understand that you mentioned that Windy no longer wishes to 'develop' the 3D option, in that it most likely seemed less likely to have its place in the direction the platform plans to go; but contrarily I, as if I am important here, feel that it 'has' found It's place, maturity and use as it is, or rather was. For me it was (is) perhaps the most significant 'viewing' feature of the whole platform and deserved to be taken (link wise) out of the back drawer of the Menu, where the Help and Feedback's are and place prominently on the top shelf next to Login/Accounts. It seems to me to fully consider It's use and usefulness on an equal base to rest of the platforms features It needed to be readily seen and given as a mutual choice of view; as one has of either e.g. using Google Maps or Google Earth.
P.P.S. - I hope this decision is not another casualty of the other platforms.
Thanks for your listening ear...and I hope this is all I have to say on the subject.

10 day forcast 'daily' sequencing
In the 10 day forecast I, daily, manually pick an hour(s) 4:00 am/pm to see just how things change from each days e.g. coolest and warmest periods; instead of using the 'play' button feature. I would love to have this automated by having the option to have the play feature not only hourly but daily, sequenced, so that one can more readily see the shifting patterns. Thanks for your service.

RE: 3D option disappeared
Hi Marie,
Speaking from someone who was just using the 3D option the day before it was removed, and planned on using it more, I am missing the "only option" out there to view weather patterns, climate warming etc. (as it has for the past 100++ yr.s)...in a unique way as entirely 'global'. I think you are missing the weather balloon by removing such a service based solely on level of use and development when such a view, even so infrequently utilized, will always be significantly needed and appreciated as (an eclipse) that diamond in the ruff. Presently and personally, I was using it to familiarize myself with how global land masses, large, small and fractured, interact with cloud development, water etc. as in a thinner atmosphere etc. (viewing form the North Pole down/outward) while also seeing just how inter-continental 'the world seems to shrink', and crystallize in the in the mind, and view when I 'had one'. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to express my feedback. -
RE: 3D mode
@peter-llanes : I agree. Seems counter productive, that Windy is presenting weather in a visually fantastic way(s), so that we can see on a larger relative scale the different facets that go into making our local weather, and yet leave out the truly global view of the 3D option. Just looking North and South of my own continent a flat map (Mercator map projection) can easily be distorted it by three times the size. World wide it can distort things (water and land) around fourteen times the size. This can easily be seen on a website called, thetruesizeof.com, where you can drag the actual size of one continent over the other. I feel if you don't have things in there proper size and shape that, like you Peter, it is difficult if not impossible to interpret the weather correctly.

RE: 3D mode
@peter-llanes Your on the mark again with 3D. I've notice that our weather begins at the poles and ripples toward the equator. Depending on the wind-streams from the poles different wind patterns form, over the large oceans and large landmasses, e.g. in the form of either large systems to numerous like hurricane swirls. One can see 'the types' uniformly occur, e.g. in the Pacific and the Atlantic at roughly the SAME time (though distorted by other adjacent land and water influences). Having the 3D helps understand how the weather patterns (wind; jet-streams) are affected by 'undistorted' oceanic and continental factors (and the poles) in real-time and forecasting. Not having 3D withstanding, I think Windy is doing a great job at allowing us to have better and safer lives. Thank you, Windy Developers.

RE: Which model should Windy implement next? Please vote.
#3 HRRR - Living between the Cascades and the Rocky's weather can change on a dime...so I believe HRRR would provide a current detailed view of how the atmosphere would affect my predominantly outdoor living experience. Appreciate your services (models).
