Just did a reinstall and I got a warning which made me realize I have Lockdown Mode turned on, so maybe this could be a source of the issue**? Though I had it enabled on my 11 Pro also.

** though I don't see why Lockdown Mode would break a weather (even such a great one) app.

@Suty can confirm. I disabled Lockdown Mode and was able to move past the splash screen and set up my account and access the application. Then I re-enabled and sure enough, it's locked on splash screen.

I hope it's a bug and not a technical limitation as I'd love to continue using Windy.

I recently (a couple of months) upgraded my iPhone 11 Pro to an iPhone 16 Pro Max. After doing so, and automatically moving the app to the new phone, it doesn't work anymore. It boots up but never goes past the splash screen.

This has been going on on the latest iOS and my phone is always up to date (or at least one version behind the main one) and this behavior has been going on for months, so no specific version affected.

I tried:

• Deleting data
• Reinstalling app
