Or add an option to disable it.
It always popup while touch the screen to move the map around.
This behavior is unnecessarily annoying.

Same behavior here since update to V 44.1.3. Try to choose "my actual location" or put your desired location in "search" in the widget config. This helped in my case.

@Änn Hi. Habe das selbe Problem seit der Version 44.1.3. Das Radar und Satelliten Widget kann bei Einstellung "Favoriten" als Location keine Daten ermitteln, bei "Meine aktuelle Position" oder "Suchen" funktioniert die Datenübertragung ohne Problem. Mein Workaround bis zur Lösung -> bei "Suchen" den gewünschten Standort eintragen. Wenn man mehrere Favoriten hat wirds aber mühsam.

So you want to get info from colors from the map, without searching for certain location? I am afraid that this is not even planned.

I am using Windy primary for the excelent radar and satellite (pre)view for my home location (storm/flooding forecast), not for travel planning. And there are five timing-points in seconds at the config-gui (3, 6, 9, 12, always). Adding a sixth point (0 or never) would be possible and not so complicated ???

@idefix37 Yes, i dont need it. And as "option" to set "off" for the customer to choose. Maybe it would also suit other peoples needs.

Using Windy since years without problems. But after update to 44.1.3, the radar and satellite widget doesnt work with "favorites" anymore. Only with "actual location" or "search -> put in my place". Happens with my Samsung Galaxy A52S (Android14) and A70 (Android11). With previous 44.1.2 there were no problems. Please have a look to this behaviour.

Thank you for the response. For me, radar widgets are working again flawlessly on all my phones.

Maybe you have to "clear app cache" or "delete App data" to bring widgets back to work.

Some people posting the "empty widget - cannot load radar images" here, depends this on the same problem? (since few days on my Galaxy A52-S Android14, A34 Android14, Galaxy TAB A 2016 Android8.1)
