Is it possible to keep the weather picker on all the time even when viewing a forecast?

iOS version has lost the weather picker. It no longer is available with or without the basic display where it was previously available with both. It is useful to view wind speed at higher altitudes. How else can this be done? Can it be returned or can the basic display report the wind at the selected altitude not just ground level?

Are you reporting thermals as thermal height or thermal strength?
