In addition to this pop up getting in the way of seeing the one hour forecast and the map, I am experiencing repeated situations where the pop up window stays up and unresponsive to any clicks. Other times it will not change models but at least the window will close. Reloading the page does nothing. This is happening equally with Firefox, duckduckgo and chrome on a Windows 10 machine. Another problem is every time I look to see different models it changes the map position and zoom to the start up location forcing even more wasted time. The direct comparisons the old interface afforded are the things that attracted me to be a premium user.

RE: Android app keeps reverting to ECMWF by itselfposted in Bug Reports
@Suty This is a real loss of functionality for those of us sailing in areas where land and water produce significant local effects such as the building of thermals or heat generated thunderstorms over land. I need to use the map display of clouds (best read for weather approaching) and wind differences between models as as map that reveals many of the assumptions each model is or is not capturing for its prediction. The map comparison between models is the only useful representation for this purpose. I can then compare the predictions as the radar and satellite show which model is evolving to the closest fit with reality. The tables are of little use or value. The maximum flexibility in UI set by the user is what lets an application be adapted to multiple disparate use cases. I essentially build an ensemble in my head while viewing the maps of wind hour by hour. The map views are geographically specific in ways that tables cannot. The usual tabular ensemble displays are fine for generalized homogeneous geographies or uses. Windy used to allow us to see how each high res model is guesstimating which local effect the models think will dominate. This is what set Windy apart.

RE: New Version - Basic not premiumposted in Your Feedback and Suggestions
@Suty YES, at least have it close as you suggest. The extra steps with this ribbon are a pain!!! The previous layout was far more efficient so I could keep the one hour forecast open while clicking through the models to get more detail on gusts and rain then is present in the compare layout. If there is some reason the new layout is supposed to work better for some other UI idea, is there an option for me to use the old better layout?

@Nicole-Dolezalova Hello Nicole. Yes, it is still happening. I am using firefox on Windows 10. I just tried it on Chrome and DuckDuckGo where it is working. So it looks like a Firefox issue.

Can radar show freezing rain and snowposted in Your Feedback and Suggestions
I much prefer Windy BUT the radar display does not differentiate rain from freezing rain from snow. Is there any technical reason why you could not offer a display like the one the Canadian Weather Network uses in the following image. After that I have included the windy display for the same time.

Why is eastern north american satelite layer empty so often in the last couple of weeksposted in Your Feedback and Suggestions
Why is eastern north america and south america satellite layer empty periodically (in the last couple of weeks)?
I get satellite images from other sources when windy.com is not working.
