    • Feature Request/Suggestion - Guided Tour

      Hello!

Just a quick feature request/suggestion. I keep Windy open on a display in my home. It's currently static on my location but I think a guided tour (of sorts) would be great.

A simple version could simply pan across the globe within a set amount of time. Zoom level would impact duration.

A more complicated version would be panning to "interesting" weather across the globe (hurricanes/typhoons, thunderstorms, odd weather patterns for areas) and staying on that area for a small amount of time before moving to the next "interesting" weather event. The more complicated version would also allow you to configure which layers would cycle when fixed on a location.

Ideally both designs would return the a "home" location configured by the user so you can still keep tabs on your local weather.

I believe most Windy users are more interested in weather than the average person and this feature would be a great way to learn about weather patterns in different regions.
