Using windy premium from Germany!
Great app but need more option customization for a quick read/use capability

After many test this is my best colour map for kitesurfing:

Thanks changing the colour map solve my issue about readability of map. I hope windy consider to implement in the future the other hints: quick change of weather models from main map, informations to be shown on graph s

Hallo developer,
I am a windy premium user and I use windy for wind-sports and I was initially fascinated by its wide capabilities. But after some weeks of use I discover it is more a general weather app then a wind-app and not really useful for wind lovers.
For wind sports is required first of all very precise wind representation of the forecast (instead there is only faded gradient maps, and by detailed zoom the map even disappears ). Forecast model should be also available in the main map. wind measure shall be represented with a read precision of 1 knot instead it is represented by color intensity), the wind speed forecast is also not well visible in the location quick forecast, in general there are too much info shown together and not focus on wind.minimum time for alerts(btw they do not work yet) is 3h too long, no alerts on gust.
In general I am confused where to find favourites, alert not always intuitive.
When i open the app the first message should be focus on alerts if any.
I hope these feedbacks of real use cases for windsports are worth to be implemented.

Never used before thanks for suggestions.
I use principally the smartphone I hope will be available on on App as well

I see the red dots but I don’t t receive alerts.

The second issue is for the thermic/alp wind I need more detailed alerts:
-Based on arome or aladin or ecmwf high res forecast
-Shorter time-window also 1-2hours
-possibility to be alerted by gusts forecasts

Hi,
I am using Wind for Kite surfing. I use notification in order to know in advance when the wind is coming, but I never get Neither notification Nor email, Even I choose the easiest option: all directions and wind from 8 to maximum. Especially I need this functionality for Alp wind fohn, Where the better forecast is arome hd. Another Wind forecast application detect very well this wind Three days in advance And it sends me a notification. Instead, windy, doesn’t detect anything!!
