I really like the relatively-new "pinned" models. They are great to quickly flip between forecasts and essential when flipping to a new overlay resets the model:

Unfortunately when I run the "New Snow" overlay it forces this bar off the top of the screen:

There's a workaround of course: I have to switch to a different overlay, change the model, and then switch back. But it's quite a faff when various models only work in specific overlays: if I pick the wrong overlay + model combination switching back to "new snow" will reset the model again.

I reported this a few times via the "bug report" interface but I don't know how to track those bug reports, so I'm also posting it here. Sorry in advance if there's some duplication.

Obviously W/m^2 is a standard unit of flux, but flux is usually defined as the flow of energy through a surface with a specific orientation. Is the surface defined to be normal to the sun? Or normal to the ground?
