Some people prefer to see wind data visualized in a form of barbs. So I tried to make a plugin that shows barbs on a wind overlay.
I would be glad to get some feedback from community.
Could this feature be useful for you?

Also I would like to hear a developers' opinion about my implementation. Probably using markers is not the best way for such kind of tasks?
