Very good tool and excellent upgrade! As a meteorologist, I suggest you add an important variable: 1000 - 500 hPa thickness layer to identify different air mass.

RE: Windy version 14 brings sharper map and better colors
@idefix37 The layer 1000 / 500 is so important because is in direct function with the temperature of the layer. You could use other layers, but 1000 / 500 hPa is the most used. Geopotential charts are absolute topography chart, they are pressure lines and you can calculate geostrophic wind. But Thickness chart is a relative chart and, in this case, the layer is a representation of the air density (temperature). Layers lesser than 540 dgp are in a relationship with polar air. Layers beyond 570 dgp are in relationship with tropical or subtropical air.

@idefix37 In 500 hPa chart a very important variable associated with is vorticity. It should a very good information to be added in Windy.

Zoom with Mac Mouse
Hi!! I have a Macbook Pro and I'm having a hard time mastering the zoom since I use the Magic Mouse. I usually have problems because the zoom goes up or down several steps, and it is difficult to control it. This does not happen with other sites that I also use (like Meteoblue). What settings should I make in Windy so that this does not happen to me?

RE: New sounding with radiosonde measurements
Thank you very much for this new tool! I can imagine the great effort to develop it. It is really very useful. Surely further updates will bring more information!

RE: Pressure Thickness and Vorticity
@Yves70 Thank you Ives. Yes, I use 700 and 850 for this. But I think that thickness complements them, and it is useful to add more information that can accurate snow areas, for example.

Pressure Thickness and Vorticity
Good Morning. I think it would be very good if the pressure thickness variables (for example 1000/500 or 1000/700) could be added to the variables, which would be very useful to identify air masses.
At the same time, I think the vorticity charts would also be very important. Thank you very much for the information you provide us. -
