While integrating windy in our app, we found the following issues, hope you can find a way how to solve before we move on:

The version map leaflet 1.4 ( very old ) and it's not as performant as mapbox's WebGL maps. They appear to cater for people that want to integrate their map on their website and use leaflet to add layers, makers, etc to the map.

However, you don't currently have a way to extract weather layer data to be used in other maps. Also, we discovered that not all the layers are available in the API, for example storm tracking.

Thes are the must haves for us to consider the subscription:

*Ability use the maps without Windy branding

• Possibility to use the WebGL (3D) map from the API
• Ability extract weather layer data to be used in a mapbox map (for example)
• Ability to get storm layer in the API (in a way we can extend, not just uncertainty boundary but also we may want to draw polygon with certain buffer (maritime use case)
• Ability to view the following layers in the API: thunder, visibility, sst, capAlerts
