As climate change is now a major concern, for everyone, , I'm pretty sure adding gridded climate data, for example to get wind roses, normals, extremes for any points, maps etc ... ...would drag a lot if users to Windy
Or maybe it is already here and I did not see it...

@filip_k I had confirmation that in the meantime WindGuru switched to V1 files (original METEO FRANCE AROME model outputs) which are available on regular basis
I understood that conversion job remaining to be done for resuming V2 files (produced from V1 METEO FRANCE files) which are used by Windy, is on AWS repository side, which is an OpenMeteoData/AWS Public Dataset Program initiative/project, beyond METEO FRANCE duties

Other sites show AROME outputs (Windguru, Wxcharts, Shom...) on regular basis since then

On "MY MAPS" window, try to deploy the Wind layer and adjust the parameter - Palette is automatic and changes according to the zoom level
However, we all agree Windy is the best and fastest display and we all wait AROME charts to be resumed ! All the best

Congratulations for your site/application.
Similarly to animation smoothing with satellite imagery, you could maybe study feasability of interpolating model outputs to create intermediate images. Probably an non-sense for weather analysis but nicer for visualization.
