Hi @stelar1967, we tried negotiating a deal with 3D S.A. company with no luck. Unfortunately, we cannot just use the data they provide in a google app, since it would most likely mean using it illegally. But as far as I know, Hellenic Met Service of Greece is upgrading their radar network and there should be some data available, most likely in the timeframe of 2026.

Regarding radar data over Greece: EMY (Hellenic Meteorological Service of Greece) doesn't currently have public radar data (as far as I know, I wasn't able to find any on their web). We tried to get radar data elsewhere (from commercial subjects) but we were not able to. From what I know, EMY is currently in process of upgrading their weather radar network and new data should be available through API. While it is great and should let us get and use the data easily, it won't be available sooner than 2026, unfortunately.

Unfortunately, NOAA radiosonde archive is currently not on our to-do list, so I can't give You any specific date.
Also, I quickly tried getting the data from the archive and it seems it has changed. Link to the root of the archive (https://www.ncei.noaa.gov/data/integrated-global-radiosonde-archive/access/data-y2d/) doesn't seem to work anymore, although link to specific file (like https://www.ncei.noaa.gov/data/integrated-global-radiosonde-archive/access/data-y2d/MYM00048650-data-beg2021.txt.zip) does work for me.

Hi @erichbonvicini, thank You for reporting the issue. There has been a data source in Sao Paulo area that was updating only once every cca 60 minutes. It is now disabled and this issue should not happen anymore.

I agree that the wind direction suspicions, so I've checked the data. I checked point N49.196, W60.029, for 2024-12-12 21.00, run time 2024-12-12 06.00 where HDRPS predicts surface (10m AGL) wind straight from 180˚ (so basically only v-component)
while ECMWF predicts same wind from 220˚ (40˚ difference!)
When I load gribs for this forecast step (u-component available here and v-component here) in QGIS, for example, I get same result (+15m/s in v-component and almost zero in u-component):
So I believe we (as windy) are displaying the data correctly. Unless u/v-components are not east/north components, but rotated (since HRDPS is using rotated latlon projection, as stated in the docs). But that would mean that all wind directions are displayed wrong, which doesn't match Your observations.
