Or perhaps a few selections to choose from. The IR+ is a great tool to indicate what nearby convective weather is doing so very well done indeed or making this tool available in near real time.

Is it possible to set cloud temperature colours? I tried by changing the temperature colour depicton. This worked for temperature but not for satellite images in the modified user defined colours. Or maybe there is a setting but I don't know how to do it. thanking you in advance and keep up the good work on this fantastic website.

Some time ago, when clicking on a map, the relevant parameter for that location (eg. temperature) used to change when in animation mode. Thus, for example, it showed how temperature change with time in step with the time displayed in the animation. Now it displays the parameter (eg. temperature) the first time, but the value stays the same when animation is activated.

Would be nice if this could be fixed. Otherwise this app is the best bar none.

There is a very useful facility with Windy to click on map and a flag is displayed showing the relevant parameter (eg temperature). However, once animated, the flagged value is not updated according to the map being displayed. As an example, when clouds having different temperatures move beneath the flagged point, the indicated temperature is not immediately updated according to the cloud top temperature passing beneath that point.

Another facility is the selection of preferred displayed layers. Once one remains logged in, the preferred layers are retained but once logging out, these return to the default settings, Can these user preferred layers be retained after logging out ?

This is by far the best meteo website I came across so far so keep it up guys.
