@idefix37 Yes, this weather picker is extremely annoying and slowing down on the android app aswell. Please let this setting be optional.

In the android app the map view zoom or movevement is slowed down dramatically by always opening a detailed view, weather picker, for the location in the middle of the map. This is very annoying and not comfortable to get an overview on the wind forecast. I remember it in the older version to only open after a longer tap on the location of interest. Unfortunately this is not convenient anymore and it would be good to be able to switch this off completely in the custumized settings. Thank you for your work improving Windy!
