I've got the same issue on Honor 10 with EMUI 8.1.0 (COL-L29 8.1.0.146(C432patch02)). What I also figured out is that when you make the widget narrower (decrease it's width) to about half the screen, the widget displays correctly...

Hope this gets fixed soon, because it really makes the widget much less readable...
