@idefix37 Thank you for the info. I appreciate the help!
(I used 'heat map' figuratively, not literally)

I also noticed that all other maps were actually represented quite well with the colour indexing except for the wind map, so I found that weird.

I can now see that the colour indexing follows 'Beaufort scale' that sailors use for navigation. Perhaps there are variants of the scale colouring they use? The wikipedia article actually shows a scale that actually looks pretty straight forward.

Not complaining - just hoping to making this already awesome app even better.

Kudos for all the good work!

      Hey Windy devs -
I love the app for its massive features and beautiful interface, but one thing really needs to be represented better visually - its the heat map or the colour indexing currently in use. You can see in the attached image that the colouring for 0-5kts [B] is almost identical to colouring for 50-60kts [A]. This is super confusing, and can be problematic if misinterpreted.

My humble suggestion would be to use a non repeating spectrum of colours (such as from blue to red, with blue being lowest and red being highest, etc.)

Or perhaps I am missing something here and I would be happy to understand why those colours are similarly chosen.

Thank you for all the amazing work & Cheers!!
