It says the altitude in metres or feet (tap to change - great)
It tells you the model.
Then it says ‘surface’
I find that very confusing. I often think it means that the altitude is AGL . So I move the pointer over to a big mountain to remind myself that no, it’s AMSL
So, I know that the ‘surface’ really is there for other forecasts where you can slide the altitude. Some don’t allow you to move the altitude slider. But for freezing altitude in particular it think it’s confusing if you still write ‘surface’ there.

I love your app, I love how well featured it is for free users, and have often gone pro when I need the extras
I would love if you include what I sense is now a standard navigation gesture and is in my muscle memory: . Double tap - hold - drag up or down to zoom in or out
It works in google maps, Strava nav, Swiss topo, most other mapping apps. It means I can do everything with just my thumb. It’s a game changer for single handed navigation

@korina please do. The screen should look the same when ad before I reopen the app . Just like any other app (web pages, social media, news ) . If I fully close it then I expect it to return to default. At the very least, please just set the default zoom level to be closer. I would assume (maybe incorrectly) that this is a simple parameter in your code and would not require a a big new feature PR

It's an awesome and powerful app, but
usability is seriously hindered by the
following:

• Viewing area is not saved when the app
  is briefly closed. So, I check the weather,
  then check a train schedule, then I have to
  manually zoom back in to the region I'm
  interested in
• the home icon centres the view on my
  current location.... Great. But, it's at a scale
  of 1 iPhone screen width to about
  20000miles. Not very helpful. As soon as
  you start pinching the screen it becomes
  pointless. In the fact the 'home' button
  should just be relabelled as a zoom-out
  button. Or something. Anyway PLEASE fix
  this as it would save me a hell of a lot of
  time
