    • Request "1000 to 500mb thickness" addition

      Retired meteorologist here. I miss the 1000 to 500 MB thickness contour map that we meteorologists are so used to in the forecast office. Tells you so much at a glance about where the cold air/warm air is etc.

      Please have option to display fcst data like NCEP does with lines. NCEP on one chart has1000-500mb thickness ( this shows you in a glance the temperature of the atmosphere ). On the same chart PCPN is shown in shades of green with definite boundaries. Then surface isobars are shown in black. Displayed this way it's so easy to see the state of the weather at a glance.
