I've been using Windy a lot lately to monitor the shifting weather patterns and unexpected temperature swings in my region. It's fascinating to compare the different forecast models (ECMWF, GFS, AROME) side by side and see how they predict these events.

I'm curious:

Which forecast model do you usually trust the most for your local area, and why?

Have you caught any extreme or unusual weather phenomena on the Windy map recently that surprised you?
