I just noticed this too checking temperatures and wind around the favorites with the favorites being gone now. I understand separating all the different views but it would be nice to have a way to keep favorites on the map at all times so you can easily check different things around the favorites.makes it easier to check on the nearest station reporting to a particular spot.
