It takes a long time for the forecast summary at the top of the map to load. Never experienced that before...
@petra-pik thank you Petra....but surely you realize this is not what I am referring to?
It's not the default layer I am concerned aboit, it's setting the default MODEL (ie GFS, NAM, etc) that is the feature that seems to most requested here in your forum....and likely to give you an immediate boost in revenue.
Thanks for the speedy response though!
....and if I wasn't clear, I will HAPPILY purchase a subscription if this feature is added. $$$$$
Subject says it all. This community forum is littered with dozens of posts about this. Why do you continue to ignore this EASY way of getting more paid subscriptions. I'm not buying it until I can set the default to the best model for my area.
I would be willing to bet I'm not alone. Your added subscriber base will MORE than pay for the work to add this feature. Do yourself and us a favour and do it.
I'm sure this has been requested many times and discussed, and I've seen some responses from the dev team about it and why it "can't be done" (come now...) ...but I'm going to say this anyway...at the risk of being condemned....
If there was a way to change the default forecast model so I don't have to change it literally every time I open the app (because in my particular spot it's almost always NAM or Meteoblue that is correct) then I would be buying premium and recommending this app to everyone I know.
As it is I still love it but can't recommend it for everyone.
...from the Android app. I can't find my alerts anywhere and when I long press on the map the "create alert" option isn't there as described in the "how to" topic post here.
You can tell me I'm an idiot just let me know where alerts are lol
