@hulakai Hello, I can suggest this to colleagues, but right now, there is no specific plan to offer this.

@Suty That is unfortunate haha. This morning I opened the widget, set to HRRR, and Windy opened with HRRR. I saw the error message again. I deleted messages, closed everything, restarted phone, opened via app (it opened with HRRR again) and the same error is in fact present. So I'd say yes, it happens with every new start of the app.

@verminal weird, maybe I'll get updated one day too lol. Nothing in the play store on my end.

@hulakai May I ask which device do you use?

@hulakai Hi. If you refer to android -> widgets are using cache, the main application does not. This can cause these situations where widget shows slightly different data than the application. Cache is used to minimize data and power usage. We will consider changes to prevent these situations. Thanks for the report.

@hulakai Hi. Unfortunately we are currently able to launch the application only with specific weather models like ECMWF, ICON and GFS. We will work on this. Thank you for your suggestion and using our app.

If you use Windy.com, try the API parameters which allow opening by default the web site with map with your area, zoom, weather parameters and models. See this related post for more details.

@hulakai I have to agree. I mean, I’m premium anyway, but at times I really get irritated by this.

@hulakai Alerts have not disappeared. If Android is similar to iOS, click your profile photo to see your alerts. To set a new alert, short press on screen to show the weather picker, drag the map under the picker and press the amber arrow to get the Meteogram table.
