Judging from the voluminous feedback to the contrary, perhaps it is you who needs to understand the new UI (and how it is losing windy profits and userbase).

Hot mess, no thanks. I'll go use ventusky. MAYBE I will check windy in a few months to see if this is rolled back; if not then I'll go ahead and delete the bookmark and stop recommending it to friends and family.

Have been a Windy user for a long, long time, and as of next week my subscription runs out (not to be renewed). I spent my $'s on MeteoBlue. Not as smooth as the previous version of Windy but there are many other nice model/display features available for subscribers. It costs a bit more than Windy but I am happy to pay and try for now in the hope that maybe Windy will sort this mess of a UI out in the not-too-distant future (or maybe they'll take a few more bruises for now and stick to their vision with this new UI).
Thanks for the tip on MeteoBlue. It is much better for my use case than the new broken windy UI.
This desktop update is total garbage. Do you have coders also working as UI designers? Listen folks: you had a great service with a ton of revenue potential. What you did to the interface this time is bringing that to an end, and fast.
Roll it back or lose your business.
