I'd like to add to this that the cloud coverage is confusingly not inverted on the dark background.
On the sounding chart the cloud coverage on the left shows lighter for less cloud coverage, darker means more coverage. This made sense on the light background and was obvious to understand.
But on the dark background this makes it counterintuitive to read - lighter has contrast on the background, which let me think this means heavy coverage, but it's actually the mildest coverage.
I don't really like the dark background on the sounding chart, but if you stick with it, in my opinion the cloud coverage should either also be inverted in colour, or a different colour scheme used entirely with a key.
See on the screenshot - intuitively the heaviest coverage seems to be at around 800 and 950, but actually the heavy coverage is the dark part at 900 (which blends in with the background, seeming almost transparent)
