When I long tab a location, an info bar appears at the top , showing the wind speed and direction. The bar disappears after a few seconds. Why??

I would like to see how wind speed evolves over time, when I press the play button at the bottom, but the values and the bar disappear. Very user unfriendly. Or do I miss anything?

Up to recently, the satellite animation was showing data up to 1min in the past, i. e. the last image of the film was almost real time. Now it ends at current time minus 30 mins? Is this a bug? What can I do to resolve the issue?
