It's my understanding that GFS is fv3, as of now. GFS is the model that the Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration uses (noaa). Noaa has updated gfs to fv3, or gfs includes fv3, or it is a new model. All the same, i believe gfs is fv3? Still referred to as gfs. I have also read several reports that say that the new model may be as good as or better than the European model, interesting.

Hello windy,
WOW! I just got an update from the play store......WOW! In my opinion this weather app is beyond great. I really like what you have done. The radar/satellite image is exactly what I was looking for. I'm a pilot/weather nerd and I have learned a lot about weather and weather forecasting just by using your app. Thank you so much for your hard work.
Jeff
PS. I guess you are done with updates? I don't see how it could get any better! -
