Maybe the Android (or iOS?) Status Bar, at the top of every phone?

And I thought Windy used the rainviewer api for this radar data anyway?

But unfortunately the Windy radar image quality is still degraded like before.
i've also included a screenshot for Europe from both Windy and RainViewer to make a comparison, and it's possible to see that they are almost the same.
But comparing the NZ screenshots it's clear to see that the Windy image has much less definition.
Can this please be investigated by the development team?

Is it correct that Windy uses RainViewer's API?
We have an intense rain system passing at the moment so here's another set of comparison screenshots.
It's also possible to see that the Australian Radar does not have these lines and the unclear / poorly defined image.
Playing the radar shows the NZ radar image becoming properly defined and then going back to these lines again.
Something is definitey not right, and given the other two sources appear to be ok maybe it is some type of problem with the processing of the data on the Windy side?

I raised issues about the NZ Radar in the earlier thread titled New Zealand Radar Service.
At the time I posted screenshots comparing the image being displayed by Windy, Rainviewer, and MetService NZ (the Source) which clearly indicated problems with Windy.
Similar problems continue now.

Please note that my original reply referred in particular to the below bolded items regarding how to solve this issue. Because the data is not controlled by Windy and instead comes from OSM.
Please also note that my reply is a standard template that covers all possibilities - because being an international site with multilingual users we receive these 'wrong name' requests every week, and sometimes every day.
I'm pleased that you may have indeed found the problem, but that is why I referred you to OSM in the first place...
Please open a support request on the OSM forum for further assistance with their platform.

Please re-read my post and the associated links again so that you can have a more clear understanding of how and where the Map data in Windy comes from and how it is corrected and updated.
There is no need for these types of posts in the forum demanding that Windy correct various Maps and Names.
Additionally the subject has been raised literally hundreds of times in the past, so it's always good to search a forum before posting, especially for new or infrequent visitors.
