Please reconsider this. The new radar "forecast" makes the radar screen pretty much unusable as a radar screen. In coastal regions, as well as mountainous regions, this type of extrapolation simply doesn't work. All it does is reduce the size of the slide to half the screen width, which on a phone is the difference between usable and useless. As of now Windy doesn't have a usable radar screen, which was the most important thing for me in Windy.
I don't see why this could not be a setting in the user preferences.
If this decision is final, I will not extend my subscription.

RE: Windy's Version 41 is here and brings new features!
Yes, please! Make the "forecast" optional!
Mixing actual data with forecast data is a bad idea in general.
With the current implementation it also seem impossible to know what you are looking at. Sometimes "5 minutes ago" seem to show an actual radar picture, sometimes it is likely a forecast, because the radar picture has not been updated yet. No way to know really, but when precipitation move into areas where there is no radar coverage it can't be an actual radar image.A clean and easy to use radar view was my primary reason for getting Premium subscription. As the current radar view is now yet a version of the Rain Forecast view, I'm not going to renew my subscription.
Sorry, but this was a really bad design decision :-( -

RE: Be one step ahead with the advanced features of Windy Premium! [EN]
@Ondřej-Šutera Not really, as I would still need to enter my credit card details and approve the payment next year. My bank requires me to approve every online payment manually in the banks app. That seem to be some new EU requirement... So I don't quite follow how the auto-renewal would work.
Also, how long time in advance would I need to cancel the auto-renewal if I don't want to continue with the subscription?

What is the difference between "Buy for one year" and "Annual subscription"? From what I can see I pay for 1 year up front in both cases.
