Being an airline pilot that uses windy as a secondary tool to support official weather predictions, being able to Select the time of the animation of weather radar for something like 3h (between 6h and 1h as we have now) would be great.

Would be great to have the possibility to create a flight plan dou-te with weather information. Kinda like the info on the IFR route, but allowing the user to choose what information would be displayed. With Departure and Arrival airports and also alternates displayed on the map. So much can be done...

@idefix37 but they never show as a initial feature even on other layers like wind. And although there is the issue with actual/prediction data, the user may want them on at all times. It would be a nice improvement.

It would be great to have the option to select 4 or 5 airports by their airport code, and add them to a list that will display those airports on the map with a different color/logo. This would be extremely helpful when a pilot wants to understand how weather will affect the area. It's still possible to do it now, but with so many airports in Europe it's sometimes hard to know exactly where that airport is. Other aviation related apps (ie. Jeppesen FD pro) let's you to exactly this but does not have the weather capabilities of Windy.

Yes, I am talking about the red prediction bar. Assuming the prediction uses wind intensity and direction to calculate the probable path of the weather, 3h would be very helpful, not so much to see the intensity of the weather but more the path.

I also think windy is an extremely powerful tool that could be more tailored to Comercial aviation. The IFR options are extremely poor. So much can me done.
