    • 10-Year Satellite Archive (New "Ultra" Premium Tier?)

      "Hello Windy Team,
I am really enjoying the v49.1.1 update! I have a suggestion for the future:
Would you consider adding a 10-year satellite imagery archive? I know that a 25-year history is very expensive to store, but 10 years would be a perfect middle ground for checking past storms on our phones.
To keep it fair and cover the high storage costs, you could make this an 'Extra Premium' tier. I (and many others) would be happy to pay a higher price to access this 10-year history.
Thank you for the great work!"

    • Feature Request: Option to Disable Color Interpolation (Pixelated/Stepped Mode) for Satellite Infrared

      "Hello Windy Team,
I am a frequent user of the Satellite Infrared layer for tracking tropical cyclones. While the current 'smooth' (interpolated) color blending looks nice, it makes it very difficult to see the exact temperature gradients in the eyewall of a hurricane, which is critical for professional analysis.

Please add a toggle switch in the Satellite settings to 'Disable Smoothing' or 'Enable Pixel/Stepped Mode.'

Professional imagery (like CIMSS/University of Wisconsin or Dvorak enhancements) uses raw pixel data. In 'Smooth' mode, the most extreme cloud-top temperatures (the -80°C to -95°C range) get blurred into the surrounding clouds. A 'Pixel' mode would allow us to see
