    • RE: Time slider on mobile is innacurate

@Suty said in Time slider on mobile is innacurate:

@jancellor Hi, I probably already understand the issue you have. You are right that sometimes the temperature changes a bit earlier than the hour on the timeline, but we still talk about pixels and it can be possible that the temperature is decreased earlier than in the whole hour. So I wouldn't consider this as a major bug, do you agree?

Sorry but I don't understand this response at all. What do pixels have to do with it? Are you implying that the slider actually has greater granularity than full hours but this is not shown to the user?

I can reproduce the bug as James reports it on an S23+. The forecast for a given time varies between two values with a 50% chance of each.

It cannot be right that the forecast displayed for a given time rounded to the nearest has a 50% chance of being one value and a 50% chance of being another entirely different value.

    • RE: Bresser Weather Station

      @Gkikas-LGPZ

      1. What Windy API service do you use for generating the key?
      2. What windyStationID do you use in the WundergroundStationForwarder script?

edit: solved this myself. I was using the windy API not the windy weather station API which has a much longer API key.

    • Why does it show the surface wind for all models when I have set altitude?

      eca28dca-9397-4c2e-b667-35903b3719d8-image.png

This clearly shows the wind is 6 km/h from 130 degrees at the altitude I have selected by I still have the models showing surface wind which I don't care about and don't want to see.

Is there any easy way to just see the wind from all models at a given time at the altitude I have selected?

This part of the app is useful but I can't get it to show the altitude I have selected:

Even better to see the wind at a range of altitudes and times for each model like the blue Windy does.

Why is seeing altitude forecasts such a pain?!

The VFR option is topping at 9000ft not 44000ft in the Route planner.

Thank you, you're right. Is there any plan to have it work with multiple weather models?

@idefix37 sorry brain freeze. I meant VFR in all instances above. I can't edit the post. My points still apply.

    • RE: Windy Tutorial: How to use a route planner

Is there any plan to implement a IFR route planner for paragliders, microlights, powered paragliders, gliders, powered parachutes etc.?

The tool looks incredibly powerful but unfortunately the airgrams are not of any use as our altitude ranges in flatlands are relatively low and there's no granularity.

It would be amazing to have something just like the IFR tool but topping out at about 6000 ft (or lower as an option) rather than 44,000 ft!

At the moment, only the bottom two would be of any use to me and it isn't worth me subscribing to Premium for this feature.

    • Customize colour scale for forecast as well as overlay

I user Windy with the Wind layer and the Wind forecast 90% of the time. It's very helpful that you allow robust customization of the overlays with custom lines and custom colours:

However, the forecast colours are similar but slightly different:

And there is no way to customize these colours. Would it be at all possible to allow us to customize these colours too please?
