I still think a predicted Hurricane Track layer would be very useful safety information with the forecasted date/time/wind speed/direction indicated or available. The data is presented by NWS (US) and ECCC (CA). Other weather apps have access to this information. Assembling this information via multiple layers is not an optimal process, and is an example of where technology can be used to effectively consolidate data and present it in an easy to interpret visualization (which Windy does so well in so many other ways!).
Maybe the gap in seeing the value of this information being presented in this way is the while hurricane forecasts are critical decision making tools in very specific areas of the world, maybe these areas do not have the degree of representation by influencers or decision makers within Windy? Just wondering.
