The Weather Radar layer is showing No Data across Australia this morning. Satellite, Rain Accumulation layers are working.
I can’t supply a screenshot as my iPhone doesn’t upload into the chat box.

RE: Weather radar “no data” (Australia)
Weather radars in Australia are not showing on Windy (“no data”), but on other sources (BOM, “Rain Radar” apps) they are working.

RE: Forecast alerts and warnings rather than just observations
@idefix37
Just to let you know that once I deleted the old alerts and saved new ones, I have been receiving alerts for forecast weather that meets the alert criteria. 👍🏻 -
RE: Webcams versus Traffic Cams
@stormsell
Likewise, I have tried to add flood watch (river watch) cams, and would like to be able to filter out the traffic cameras so that I can easily see which river cams are not on Windy yet.
(Mainly because not all of the cams that I add, end up appearing. I use the cam owner email address when adding so I never get to see if there's a reason why they don't get added). -
RE: Apple Watch Windy forecast complication display errors
Thankyou for the troubleshooting tips.
The forecast within the app works as expected.
The wind forecast also works as expected.I had been accessing both of these (and other features) already.
The complication didn’t update.What did work, was restarting my watch again.

Only mobile notifications. I haven’t turned the email notifications on.
I have just deleted all of my alerts and recreated them. I will see how it goes as there’s every chance I still created them wrong to begin with. -
RE: Lightning click sound does not always work
@korina
It’s in the iOS app, and it is still a problem.
My phone is vibrating with each strike but still no click. I have (obviously) quit the app, many times, and I have continued to update it as updates have become available. The volume is turned up as loud as possible, and the phone (iphone 11) is not on silent or “do not disturb”. -
Apple Watch Windy forecast complication display errors
I have a brand new Apple Watch 7, and I’ve updated all app versions as well as the iOS.
The Windy complication for Forecast is displaying incorrectly.
- My physical location doesn’t appear (but in the example in the Watch app, it does!)
- The forecast shown on my watch face is not correct. Instead, it is showing the same information as the “example” in the Watch App (which is NOT related to my location).
“Example” of watch face in Watch App

(https://imgur.com/3XHVH0y)Windy app forecast on iPhone
(https://imgur.com/undefined)- I don’t know if it’s an expected behaviour, but the forecast complication disappears (turns into dashed lines) when I put my wrist down.

RE: Weather radar “no data” (Australia)
@korina Thankyou
By the time I finished posting the message here and went back, it popped up (I had tried reloading several times before coming to the forum, that hadn’t been successful in loading the radar).
I had to start driving though so couldn’t come back to let you know. -

Another severe weather system with extreme weather warnings, and Windy is again showing “no data” for Australia on the weather radar.
I’m not sure if you’re already aware? -

RE: Forecast alerts and warnings rather than just observations
@idefix37
I do have independent alerts set up, for each type and for each location.
I may have to change some limits though because I have never received an alert despite having alerts turned on (hence why I thought it must be an observation rather than forecast - forecast I should definitely have received something). -
RE: numbers (show values option)
@idefix37
I was looking for a current weather observations overlay (like with rainfall accumulation and temperature)
I’m not very good at understanding forecasts beyond the basic numbers, and the colour chart is not an exact indication.
At the moment I have to find each location, one at a time (see image) -
numbers (show values option)
Sometimes I struggle to figure out the values of some of the colour charts on the Windy app.
Is there a feature (or could there please be one in the future) to turn on and off, weather station values for the overlay in use?
Eg: rainfall
an option to have the actual rainfall amount appear as a number when the button is toggled.
Eg: temperature
an option to have the actual current temperature appear as a number when the button is toggled.This would really only work at certain zoom levels, I'm sure.
I know I can click on each location (but the spot I click is never the same as where the dot appears, so I end up having to type in the station name in Search), but a quick "show values" would make it heaps easier to get a quick run of current temps/rainfall at all stations in a single view (rather than guessing from the value closest to the colour shown). -
RE: 1 hour view as default for premium account
@adoria
In case others are looking for the answer to the same question, I noticed that setting in the app won't flow over to desktop, so if you happen to use both (desktop and app), you'll need to go into the settings of both to turn on the "remember 1hr/3hr setting".
At least, was my experience.
