I don't live on the island, I know Windy does not own radars, I have no idea if the radar on the island is functional. I just wrote that Windy used to present data from the Madeira radar and now it does not. I have no idea where the problem is, but I miss the feature.

I was just about to post a humble request to have loop on/off switch for the radar and satellite playback, but it seems I'm not the only one missing this feature. Any chances?

@idefix37 As @Suty wrote 3 months ago, this was known not to be issue with Windy (which is - of course - almost flawless :-)
Now I just hope that a radar data from again-functioning radar will be visible in Windy app.

@Konrad-6 The radar is back in operation after few months of outage. I hope Windy will present data from it soon.

That is not true. The weather radar on Madeira was working perfectly well for years. Windy stopped showing the data some time in November/December last year and it is dead since then.

Due to pretty unpredictable and varying weather on the island, the radar plus satellite imagery are/were very useful. I keep my fingers crossed for radar data to be available again.

Any updates on the situation? The feature is down for over 3 months now...

For quite a few days now there is no weather radar image data for the Madeira island.
